What started as a small fundraiser called #SupportUtila by the owner’s of Coral View Beach Resort Utila, to help provide food for those financially impacted by the pandemic, has evolved into Support Utila inc, a 501(c)3 organization, committed to continuing our original goals of helping provide food, vitamins and medicine, plus more. What that “more” is will grow over time. Until the pandemic is globally under control and is no longer a threat, we remain focused on preventive medical needs, and being prepared for a possible outbreak. Our other immediate programs include helping secure needed resources for Jasper’s Utila Animal Shelter, to keep your pets safe, to reduce stray animals, and to provide a better life for people and pet’s alike.
As our funding grows, and grants are secured, we continue working with the Municipalidad de Utila, schools, and other organizations to help provide what is needed to continue keeping Utila beautiful, to improve the lives of its residents, to keep its ocean and lands clean, and play a critical role in providing opportunity for all.
